This short Morocco trip is perfectly designed for travelers looking for short trips to Marrakech or a memorable Morocco weekend trip that goes beyond the city. We start in Marrakech and begin our travel in Morocco experience by crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic TIZI-N-TICHKA Pass, one of the most beautiful mountain routes in Morocco.
We arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a historic village listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the highlights of many short Morocco tours.
After exploring the kasbah, we continue toward Ouarzazate and then the Dades Valley, passing through the Valley of Roses in Kelaat M’Gouna, famous for its annual festival and unique rose fragrance.
Arrival at the hotel in the Dades Valley with dinner and a comfortable stay amidst peaceful nature.

After breakfast, we head towards the Todgha Gorge via Tinghir, where dramatic canyon walls make this a favorite stop on any short trip to Morocco. We continue our journey to Tinghir for lunch, then to Erfoud to visit traditional archaeological workshops.
As evening falls, we arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi desert and a key highlight of this morocco itinerary 5 days. Here the real adventure begins with a camel ride across the golden sand dunes to the traditional desert camp.
We enjoy the breathtaking sunset, followed by a desert evening with the sounds of Berber drums under a starry sky, with an overnight stay in authentic Berber tents. This is what makes this journey a true 5 day Morocco tour.

We wake up early to watch the enchanting sunrise over the desert sands, then return to the hotel by camel for breakfast. Afterwards, we visit the village of Khamlia, the home of Gnawa spiritual music, where we enjoy moving traditional musical performances.
We visit Bedouin families to learn about their way of life, then head to the town of Rissani to discover the largest traditional market in the region, where locals flock to shop.
We enjoy a traditional lunch featuring popular dishes like mdfouna and tagine withoroccan tea, before returning to Merzouga for a peaceful night in the heart of the desert, ideal for travelers seeking authentic Morocco land tour experiences.

We leave the desert heading towards Ouarzazate.
Along the way we pass through the towns of Rissani, Alnif, Nkob and Zagora, another desert gateway characterized by palm oases and historic kasbahs.
After lunch in Zagora, we continue the journey to Ouarzazate, with free time to explore the city. This day is ideal for those planning a flexible weekend trip to Marrakech itinerary.

On the last day, we return to Marrakech via the Tizi n’Tichka pass in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, with a stop in the village of Tadert to rest and enjoy the stunning scenery.
We arrive in Marrakech laden with unforgettable memories from a short journey, great in its experiences, combining history, the desert, and authentic Moroccan culture.
